On the Obverse of the coin, there are right-facing profiles of King Philippe of Belgium in the foreground and Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg in the background. 2 Euro Commemorative Belgium 2021 Karlsgulden minted under Charles V, commemorate the 500th anniversary of the ordinance of the second period of coin issuance during the reign of Charles V. Coin issued on 27/10/2021

The Obverse features the portrait of Charles V in Renaissance attire, beneath the inscription CAROLUS V. On the upper left, the Carolus d'or is depicted, which was the coin issued under the ordinance 500 years ago; below it is the monogram of Belgium BE and the date of issuance of the commemorative 2021.

At the bottom of the coin, the symbols of the Dutch Mint, the caduceus, and the coat of arms of the municipality of Herzele are present, which also represents the symbol of Ingrid van Herzele, director of the Belgian Mint. One of the two commemoratives of 2021 is the coin dedicated to Estonia's national animal, the Wolf. Coin issued on 20/10/2021

On the Obverse, the silhouette of a howling wolf is depicted, with the profile of a forest and a starry sky in the background.
At the top, the inscription CANIS LUPUS (Wolf Dog) appears, and at the bottom left, the name of the issuing state EESTI is engraved, while on the right, the year of issue 2021.

Nel 2021 la Francia dedica la sua commemorativa all'UNICEF e ai suoi 75 anni di missione. Emissione del 16/3/2021.

La 2 Euro San Marino 2021 Dürer è la seconda commemorativa della Repubblica di San Marino del 2021 ed è dedicata al 550º anniversario della nascita di Albrecht Dürer. Emissione del 27/08/2021. Al centro, nella parte al Dritto c'è la raffigurazione del particolare del dipinto realizzato a Norimberga nel 1526 da Dürer “La Vergine della pera” con a destra il monogramma dello stesso Dürer AD in alto ed in basso la firma dell'autore Valerio de Seta V d S. Sotto la vergine col bambino ci sono le date 1471 – 2021, a sinistra la scritta SAN MARINO con il simbolo di zecca R, e a destra DÜRER. Intorno le dodici stelle dell'Unione Europea. L'autore è Valerio de Seta.

La Vergine della pera è una tavola dipinta a olio delle dimensioni di 43x32cm dipinta da Dürer nel 1526. Opera attualmente esposta nella Galleria degli Uffizi di Firenze.
Si tratta dell'ultima madonna dipinta da Dürer, dipinta su sfondo scuro a Norimberga. La Madonna non porta il velo e offre una pera al bambino che tiene in braccio.

Nel 2021 per i 450 anni dalla nascita del Caravaggio viene emessa la commemorativa in suo onore. La 2 euro San Marino 2021 Caravaggio è stata emessa in data 1/03/2021.

Nella faccia al Dritto c'è raffigurato un suo celebre dipinto ad olio del 1954/55 , la Maddalena Penitente. In alto è incisa a semicerchio la scritta SAN MARINO ● CARAVAGGIO, sotto sulla sinistra le date 1571 – 2021. A destra il marchio della zecca di Roma R e a sinistra la firma dell'autrice Silvia Pratesi SP. Nel cerchio intorno sono distribuite le 12 stelle simbolo dei Paesi Europei. L'autrice è Silvia Pratesi.

La Maddalena Penitente è un olio su tela delle dimensioni di 122,5×98,5cm dipinto da Michelangelo Merisi detto Caravaggio tra il 1594 e il 1595. Opera esposta alla Galleria Doria Pamphilj a Roma. La modella che ha posato per Caravaggio fu la giovane prostituta diciassettenne Anna Bianchini che Caravaggio frequentò e con cui ebbe un rapporto turbolento e che posò per diverse opere del Merisi.

Al Dritto c'è il profilo di Alexander Dubček rivolto a sinistra, sulla parte a destra in basso Alexander Dubček l'anno della sua nascita e quello della sua morte 1921 e 1992. In basso a destra ci sono anche le iniziali BR dell'autore Branislav Ronai ed anche il simbolo della Zecca di Kremnica MK (Mincovňa Kremnica).

On the Obverse, the Puerta del Sol is depicted, a historic building from the 14th century located in the historic center of Toledo. In the upper right, the mint mark M with a crown is engraved. To the left behind the door, there is a mural, a masterpiece of Hispano-Jewish art in Mudejar style, created in the synagogue of Samuel Levi (Sinagoga del Tránsito). The 2 Euro Commemorative Vatican 2021 Caravaggio was issued on 25/06/2021 and is dedicated to the 450 years since the birth of the great Italian painter Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio.

On the Obverse of the 2 euro coin, there is a depiction of the famous oil painting Boy with a Basket of Fruit from 1592, which is located in Rome.
