Here is the commemorative 2 euro coin from Malta, minted in 2021 and dedicated to the Fight against Covid19. Issue 02/08/2021

On the Obverse, Doreen Zammit and Charmaine Cauchi, two Maltese nurses, are depicted in a photo by Diane Faenza during the terrible moments of the Covid19 pandemic in Malta. At the top, the inscription HEROES OF THE PANDEMIC is engraved, at the bottom MALTA – 2021, and on the right, the initials MAF of the author Maria Anna Frisone are inscribed.
On the left, there are two symbols: the cornucopia of the Paris Mint and the square with JJ and the head of the rhinoceros, symbol of the Engraver Joaquin Jimenez. Surrounding it are the 12 stars of the European Union.
