Description of the 2 Euro Resolution 1325 of the United Nations Security Council 2022

The 2 euro commemorative Malta 2022 Peace and Security for Women are dedicated to women, thanks to Resolution 1325 of the United Nations Security Council which aimed to recognize, on October 31, 2000, the fundamental role of women in the prevention and resolution of war conflicts. Resolution 1325 of the UN on peace and security for women. Issued on 17/11/2022

On the Obverse, there are depicted three profiles of women, three different ethnicities facing right towards the future, the faces are inscribed within the Venus symbol with the inscription UNSCR 1325. At the top right, among the three-leaf olive branches, the inscription WOMEN PEACE SECURITY. At the bottom left, the inscription MALTA 2022 is engraved. The author's signature is engraved at the lower almost central part A.NAPOLIONE Antonella Napolione.
Surrounding are engraved the 12 stars of Europe.
