The winning design of the competition held by the Estonian Central Bank, won by Kaupo Kangro, features on the Obverse an elegant design of two cornflowers in a meadow with delicate blades of grass intertwining, creating a background of intersecting lines. At the top left, there is the inscription CENTAUREA CYANUS, and at the bottom center, the inscription EESTI 2024 on two lines.

The €2 Commemorative Finland 2024 Election and Democracy will be minted in the spring of 2024.
On the Obverse, there are rectangles and circles that intersect to create eight stylized ballot papers. At the top of the coin, there is the inscription VAL DEMOKRATI, at the bottom the year of issue 2024 and VAALIT DEMOKRATIA. On the right, there is the engraving of the Finnish monogram FI and the symbol of the Finnish Mint, which is the Circle containing the Heraldic Lion.
Surrounding it are the 12 stars of the Europe logo arranged in a circle.

The 2 Euro Commemorative France 2024 Paris 2024 Olympics Hercules is the fourth issue dedicated to the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. Issue 2024
The Monnaie de Paris has revealed the design of the first commemorative 2 euro coin for 2024 from France. “Hercules and the wrestling match at Notre Dame” is the theme of the commemorative coin.
On the Obverse, Hercules is depicted on the left fighting against a winged hybrid in front of him. At the bottom left of the coin, the logo of the Paris 2024 Olympics, the marks of the French mint, the cornucopia, and the stylized square with the head of a rhinoceros, along with the signature JJ of the engraver Joaquin Jimenez are inscribed. In the background on the left, the athletic track and the monogram of the French Republic RF are engraved. In the background on the right, part of the façade of Notre Dame is visible. The year of issue 2024 is inscribed vertically above the foot of the winged hybrid.
Surrounding it are the 12 five-pointed stars of Europe.

In 2024, Germany will dedicate a €2 commemorative coin to the highest cliff on the German island of Rügen: Königsstuhl (King's Chair). Issue 2024
There are two legends regarding the origin of the name King's Chair (Königsstuhl); the first is based on a mythological tale that recognizes as KING anyone who can reach the top of the cliff.
The second legend is based on a hypothetical “historical event” from 1719 when King Charles XII was said to have sat on a chair to rest, right at the foot of the cliff after a hard naval battle against the Danes.
On the Obverse, to the right of the coin, there is an image of the cliff, at the top left is inscribed the text MECKLENBURG-VORPOMMERN 2024, below the text is the German monogram D. At the bottom left is the signature of the author Michael Otto, and finally, the mint mark (A/D/F/G/J) is engraved at the top right.

2 Euro 2024 Germany – Frankfurt Constitution

The €2 Commemorative coins Germany 2024 Frankfurt Constitution will be dedicated to the first attempt at a national and democratic constitution in Germany in 1849. Issue 2024
On the Obverse, at the top of the coin, there is the inscription PAULSKIRCHNVERFASSUNG 1849, in the center is depicted the Church of St. Paul, the Paulskirche, located in Frankfurt, with the entrance of the delegates of the National Constituent Assembly.
In the background of the church, three female allegories are depicted: Unity, Justice, and Freedom. Behind is a stylization referencing the German tricolor, between the allegories and the Church of St. Paul is engraved the constitutional document with a quill pen.
At the bottom of the coin, on the right, the year of issue 2024 is engraved, while on the left is the German symbol D. On the facade of the church is the signature of the author Bodo Borschat BB. Additionally, on the right side of the coin behind the quill pen is the mint mark of Germany (A/D/F/G/J).
Surrounding it are the 12 stars of Europe.

2 Euro Greece 2024 Return to Democracy
The “2 Euro Commemorative Greece 2024 Return to Democracy” will be minted to mark the 50th Anniversary of the restoration of Democracy in Greece. Coin to be issued in 2024.
A bit of historical background: The restoration of democracy occurred in July 1974, marking a turning point in the political history of modern Greece. When the military regime that had ruled the country since 1967 collapsed, a long transition period began with the formation of a National Unity government led by Konstantinos Karamanlis, who had served as Prime Minister in the late 1950s and early 1960s.
The National Unity government made several important decisions, including organizing free parliamentary elections for the election of a constitutional assembly, organizing a referendum on the monarchy, and also legalizing the Communist Party (KKE), which had been considered illegal since its formation.
The design of the Obverse is not yet known.

The 2 Euro Commemorative Greece 2024 Penelope Delta will be minted to commemorate the 150 years since the birth of the Greek writer Penelope Delta.
Penelope Delta was a highly regarded Greek writer, especially for her contributions to children's literature. Her historical novels influenced the modern Greek popular perception of national identity and history. She was also actively involved in Greek politics in the early 20th century, from the Macedonian struggle to the national schism. Born in 1874 in Alexandria, Egypt, and died in 1941 in Athens. Coin to be issued in 2024.

In 2024, on the occasion of the 250th Anniversary of the National and University Library in Ljubljana, Slovenia will issue a €2 commemorative coin honoring a symbolic element of the Library. Issuance 2024
The design of the draft that winner of the competition held by the Bank of Slovenia features on the Obverse of the coin a stylization of a handle of the National and University Library with the mythological winged horse Pegasus. At the top, the inscription NARODNA IN UNIVERZITETNA KNJIŹNICA | 1774 is engraved. At the bottom, the inscription SLOVENIJA | 2024 is engraved.

The tribute refers to a Roman-style detail of the Library's entrance.
It is a stylization of one of the two handles of the main door. The handle, or knob, is shaped like a horse's head, which is a clear reference to Pegasus, the mythological winged horse that serves as a guide for visitors to the library. A symbolic welcome on their journey into the world of knowledge and culture.
The date 1774 refers to the decree of Empress Maria Theresa of Austria that established the new library in 1774, following an unfortunate fire that destroyed the Jesuit college library in Levstikov Square.
