The Cyprus 2024 €2 commemorative marks the 20th anniversary of the Republic of Cyprus joining the European Union (2004–2024). Issued on 27 November 2024.

The obverse depicts Cyprus as a force of creation and development within Europe, symbolised by the European Commission building in Brussels, with the Earth globe highlighting the island's geopolitical role. Inscriptions ΚΥΠΡΟΣ / KIBRIS and dates 2004-2024; circular Greek legend on the accession anniversary; 12 EU stars on the outer ring. Designer: Georgios Stamatopoulos; minted at the Bank of Greece.
