On the Obverse of the coin, there is a stylized Rugby Player in motion with the rugby ball, the playing field is a stylized Globe with two goals in perspective, one in front and one behind. In the background, there is the allegory of the rugby world, the starry sky with two oval planets resembling the rugby ball.
At the top of the coin, the inscription COUPE DU MONDE RUGBY FRANCE 2023 is engraved, at the bottom left the inscription is repeated in three lines: COUPE DU MONDE RUGBY FRANCE 2023.
