The 2 Euro Commemorative Coin France 2021 Paris 2024 Olympics, representing “The Race”, is the first commemorative coin dedicated to the 2024 Olympic Games held in France. A total of 4 series of coins will be issued dedicated to the XXXIII Olympics, in 2021/2022/2023/2024. In the central part of the coin on the Obverse is engraved the symbol of France, the Marianne, engaged in athletics, wearing a Phrygian cap (a symbol of Freedom during the Revolution). In the background, there is a stylized Olympic arena and the Eiffel Tower, on the left the logo of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, while at the bottom is engraved the monogram of the French Republic RF above the year of issue 2021.

To the left of the minting year is engraved the Cornucopia as a symbol of the Paris Mint, and to the right the square with the stylized rhinoceros head, symbol of Joaquin Jimenez JJ, the designer. Around the coin, the stars of the European Union are distributed in a circle.
