Estonia €2 The Wolf 2021 — Value and Rarity

One of the two commemoratives of 2021 is the coin dedicated to Estonia's national animal, the Wolf. Coin issued on 20/10/2021

On the Obverse, the silhouette of a howling wolf is depicted, with the profile of a forest and a starry sky in the background.
At the top, the inscription CANIS LUPUS (Wolf Dog) appears, and at the bottom left, the name of the issuing state EESTI is engraved, while on the right, the year of issue 2021.

Surrounding it are twelve five-pointed stars arranged in a circle.

On the Reverse, the Common Side is engraved as with other commemoratives, featuring the coin's value in the center with a map of European countries in the background.

A particularity of this coin is that the design was modified after the approval of the European Commission, as it resembled too closely the identifying logo of the Grey Wolves, a known extremist association in Turkey.
Indeed, the first draft was approved but was promptly modified after the complaint from Rudolf Diephuis (German Collector and Numismatist).
