In the same year, another coin was minted. Specifically, we are talking about the €2 Commemorative coin minted in 2018 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Estonia's independence.

Estonia achieved independence in 1918, and while the coin minted in 2017 celebrated the journey to independence, this coin was minted to commemorate the centenary of this joyous event.

On the Obverse, we can observe a refined design that simultaneously represents the numbers 18 (the year of independence) and 100 (the anniversary). At the bottom in a semicircle, the inscriptions “SADA AASTAT EESTI VABARIIKI • EESTI 2018” are engraved.

Surrounding it, we can see the twelve five-pointed stars as a symbol of Europe. As for the Reverse, it does not differ from that of any other €2 coin.
