Siamo giunti dunque a quella che, per il momento, è l’ultima moneta di questa collezione. Parliamo della moneta da 2 Euro Commemorativa di Andorra coniata nel 2019 in occasione del 600° anniversario del Consell de la Terra. La moneta successiva è anch’essa molto importante per il Principato. In particolare si tratta della moneta da 2 Euro Commemorativa di Andorra coniata nel 2019 in occasione della Finale del Mondo di Sci Alpino svoltasi dall’11 al 17 marzo 2019 a Grandvalira.

Another commemorative coin from 2019 is the one issued for the 25th Anniversary of the European Monetary Institute EMI, which was released on 9/05/2019.

The Obverse of the coin features the portrait of the first President who led the European Monetary Institute EMI, Alexandre Lamfalussy, depicted on the right side of the coin wearing glasses, a suit, and a tie. Below him is his name A.Lamfalussy and the Belgium mint mark BE followed by the year 2019.

In the foreground to his left, there is a column of coins stacked on top of each other, each marked with a symbol: € – ECU – BEF, a clear symbol of the monetary transition from the Belgian franc to the euro. Above Lamfalussy's shoulder are the initials of the engraver Luc Luycx.

Nel 2019 viene dedicata una commemorativa ad uno dei più grandi Pittori fiamminghi del 1500, Pieter Bruegel il Vecchio. Commemorativa emessa il 1/03/2019.

Nella faccia al Dritto c'è il profilo di Pieter Bruegel il Vecchio rivolto a sinistra, sullo sfondo a sinistra c'è un cavalletto con sopra uno dei suoi quadri più conosciuti, “La Torre di Babele“. In alto a semicerchio c'è il suo nome P.BRUGEL e sotto, tra il cavalletto e il ritratto, l'anno della sua morte e l'anno di conio della moneta 1569+ 2019.

Here we have another commemorative coin, this one celebrating an important event in the development of Estonia. Specifically, it is the 2 Euro Commemorative coin from Estonia minted in 2019 for the 100th Anniversary of the University of Tartu.

This is considered by Estonians to be the National University.

The next coin we will look at is the €2 Commemorative coin from Estonia minted in 2019 to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Estonian Song Festival.

This is a special event that takes place every 5 years in July at the Tallinn Auditorium.

Per i 100 Anni dalla Costituzione Finlandese è stata emessa questa commemorativa del 2019.

2019. Ecco, ad oggi, la moneta più quotata tra le commemorative francesi, quella dedicata ad Asterix, noto fumetto francese. L'unica commemorativa non comune coniata solo nelle versioni Fdc e Fs. Si può dire che siano quindi dei 2 euro francesi rari, con il loro buon valore.

Alla caduta del muro di Berlino è dedicata la commemorativa da due euro francese del 2019.

We remain in Berlin because the second German commemorative €2 coin of 2019 is also dedicated to this city, specifically to the fall of the Berlin Wall on its 30th Anniversary. Designed by Joaquin Jimenez, issued on 10/10/2019.
Indeed, on the Obverse of this €2 Germany coin, we see the passage crossed by three doves, symbolizing peace, flying above jubilant hands raised to the sky. To the right is the Brandenburg Gate and to the left a part of the wall with the inscription 30 JAHRE MAUERFALL.

La Commemorativa del 2019 è stata messa in onore del Consiglio Federale tedesco, il noto Bundesrat luogo importante per Berlino e per la Germania tutta. L'edificio fu costruito nel 1904 oggi è sede del Ministero delle Finanze. Emissione del 29/01/2019.

Once again, an extremely important coin for the history of Ireland. In particular, this €2 Commemorative coin was minted in 2019 for the 100th Anniversary of the first Dáil Éireann assembly.

This, which translates to “Assembly of Ireland,” is nothing more than the lower house of the Oireachtas (i.e., the Parliament) of the Republic of Ireland.

Questa magnifica raccolta delle monete da 2 Euro commemorative Italia si conclude con un personaggio storico conosciuto praticamente ovunque. Parliamo naturalmente dei 2 Euro Commemorativi Italia 2019 che commemorano il 500° anniversario della nascita di Leonardo da Vinci, pittore, scultore, inventore, uomo di scienza e tanto altro ancora.

Eccoci alla moneta del 2019 e realizzata utilizzando un simbolo presente anche nello Stemma della Lettonia stessa: Il Sole che sorge. Bimetallica emessa il 17/09/2019.

Questa moneta da 2 Euro Commemorativa della Lituania è stata coniata nello specifico nel 2019 per onorare le Sutartines ovvero canzoni popolari lituane. Quindi anche questa, come la precedente esalta la cultura popolare baltica.

Ancora una volta la Lituania è in grado di stupire con le sue monete. Nello specifico questa moneta da 2 Euro Commemorativa è stata coniata nel 2019 ed è la prima di una pentaserie sulle regioni etnografiche che compongono per l’appunto la Lituania (“Lietuvos etnografiniai regionai”)

Questa prima moneta è dedicata alla regione di Žemaitija.

La commemorativa da 2 euro di Malta del 2019 dedicata alla Natura e all'Ambiente fa parte del progetto “From children in Solidarity” promosso dal Malta Community Chest Fund”. Emessa il 21/10/2019.

This €2 coin was minted in 2019 in honor of the 200th Anniversary of the Ascension to the Throne of Prince Honoré V.
Honoré V was born in Paris on May 14, 1778, and died in the same city on October 2, 1841. He was the sovereign of Monaco from 1819 until his death.

On the Obverse of the coin, we can observe the effigy of Prince Honoré V with the inscription “HONORE V” to the left and “MONACO” to the right. To the left, there is also a cornucopia, which represents the symbol of the Paris mint. At the bottom, the semicircular inscription “1819 – Avènement – 2019” is engraved. The Obverse of this proudly Portuguese 2 euro coin features a portrait of Magellan with his deep gaze scanning the horizon to our left.
To the left is inscribed the text 2019 – PORTUGAL preceded by the INCM symbol of the Portuguese Mint and the signature of the designer Luís Filipe Abreu.
At the bottom, it is engraved in two lines around the circle: CIRCUM NAVEGAÇÃO / 1519 FERNÃO✦DE✦MÃGÃLHÃES.

Surrounding it is the nickel and copper crown with the symbol of Europe, represented by a circle of 12 five-pointed stars.

The Reverse of the coin, or back, features the Common Side with the nominal value of the coin: 2€, along with a map of European countries.

The Edge: Inscribed with seven castles and five coats of arms.

Arriviamo dunque all’ultima moneta di questa meravigliosa collezione. Nello specifico l’ultima è la moneta da 2 Euro commemorativa di San Marino coniata nel 2019 in onore del 550° anniversario della morte di Filippo Lippi noto pittore italiano. Emissione del 29/08/2019. Al Dritto possiamo notare un particolare dell’opera Madonna col Bambino e due angeli conservata alla Galleria degli Uffizi a Firenze. In alto possiamo osservare ad arco le scritte SAN MARINO e FILIPPO LIPPI mentre in basso c’è la data 2019 e le iniziali dell’autrice. Sulla sinistra infine notiamo la data 1469 e il simbolo di zecca R. L'autore è Maria Angela Casso.

La Madonna col Bambino di Filippo Lippi del 1465, tempera su tavola 92×63,5 cm, esposta agli Uffizi di Firenze in Italia. Opera nota con il nome Lippina.

Il volto della Madonna è attribuito a quello di Lucrezia Buti, monaca amante del Lippi. La tavola, probabilmente ispirata alla nascita di suo figlio Filippino, è d'ispirazione fiamminga e si trova in quella che probabilmente fu la casa del Lippi.

Questa moneta da 2 Euro commemorativa di San Marino è stata coniata nel 2019 per il 500° anniversario della morte del grande Leonardo da Vinci. Emissione del 4/04/2019. Al Dritto possiamo infatti notare la rappresentazione di un Angelo dipinto da Leonardo. Questo è un particolare dell’opera Battesimo di Cristo conservata alla Galleria degli Uffizi a Firenze. In alto a sinistra è presente la scritta ad arco SAN MARINO mentre a destra quella 1519 LEONARDO 2019. In basso poi è possibile notare il simbolo di zecca R. L ‘autore è Uliana Pernazza.

L'opera Il Battesimo di Cristo di Verrocchio e Leonardo da Vinci è un dipinto a olio e tempera su tavola datato 1475/1478 e si trova attualmente agli Uffizi di Firenze. Ambientato in Palestina sulle rive del fiume Giordano, il dipinto del Verrocchio rivela un intervento del giovane Leonardo che dipinse con maestria l'angelo a sinistra e molto probabilmente anche il paesaggio e lo stesso Cristo. La straordinaria esecuzione di Leonardo da Vinci suscitò anche il disappunto da parte del suo stesso maestro che si vide così superato dal suo giovane allievo.

La dodicesima moneta è stata coniata nel 2019 in occasione del 100° Anniversario della morte di Milan Rastislav Štefánik, politico e generale slovacco.

Al Dritto possiamo osservare proprio un ritratto di Milan Rastislav Štefánik in uniforme militare con lo sguardo rivolto verso sinistra. Sempre a sinistra sono incise le scritte le scritte “SLOVENSKO” “MILAN RASTISLAV ŠTEFANIK” e le date “1880-1919”.
A destra è presente l’anno di emissione “2019”, le iniziali dell’autore e il simbolo della Zecca di Kremnica “MK” (Mincovňa Kremnica).
Tutto intorno la moneta presenta, come tutte le altre, le 12 stellette a cinque punte come simbolo degli Stati Europei.

Il Verso è identico a quello di qualsiasi altra moneta da 2 Euro.

To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the University of Ljubljana, this commemorative coin is issued. Released on 25/11/2019.

On the Obverse, the square logo symbolizing the University of Ljubljana is featured. Above the logo, the inscription reads in three lines: 100 UNIVERZE LJUBLJANJ. A banner for the 100 is engraved with LET.

We have reached the penultimate coin in this interesting collection dedicated to the 2 Euro commemorative coins of Spain. In particular, this last Spanish commemorative 2 Euro coin was minted in 2019 to commemorate the City of Ávila and its historic center with the imposing walls that characterize it. Issue date 20/02/2019

On the Obverse, we can indeed see a detail of the walls. At the top in an arch is the inscription ESPAÑA, followed below by the year of minting and to the right by the crowned M, the symbol of the Madrid Mint. All around the coin is characterized by the classic 12 five-pointed stars representing the European states.

Finally, the last commemorative €2 Vatican coin was minted in honor of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Vatican City State.

On the Obverse, we find the effigy of Pope Pius XI facing left with the Lateran Palace and the famous obelisk behind him. At the top, the inscription “VATICAN CITY STATE” is present, while at the bottom are the dates “1929” and “2019”. Below, we see the signature of the author “FUSCO” and to the right, the mintmark R.

As always, surrounding the design are the 12 five-pointed stars representing the European states, and on the Reverse, we find the same face as the other €2 coins.

In 2019, the 2 Euro Commemorative Vatican 2019 Sistine Chapel coins were minted. This coin was issued to mark the completion of restoration work that began in 1994. The coin was released on 1/10/2019.

On the Obverse, it features Christ the Judge and Mary, a detail from Michelangelo's fresco “The Last Judgment” in the Sistine Chapel. To the left is the inscription CITTÀ DEL VATICANO, and to the right CAPPELLA SISTINA – FINE DEI RESTAURI.
Also to the right are the dates 1994 – 2019 and the symbol of the Rome Mint R.

At the bottom are the signatures of the designers and engravers D. LONGO INC. A.M. (Daniela Longo and Annalisa Masini).
