The 2 Euro Commemorative Belgium 2021 Economic Union Belgium Luxembourg was chosen to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the economic union between Belgium and Luxembourg. Coin issued on 7/07/2021

On the Obverse of the coin, there are right-facing profiles of King Philippe of Belgium in the foreground and Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg in the background. To the right, above the maps of Belgium BE and Luxembourg LUX, the vertical inscription ECONOMIC UNION is engraved, along with: the coat of arms of the municipality of Herzele, which is also the symbol of the director of the Belgian Mint Ingrid van Herzele, and the caduceus, which symbolizes the Dutch Mint.

At the bottom, the dates 1921 and 2021 are present, and to the right are the initials of the designer Luc Luycx LL. Surrounding it are the 12 stars of the European symbol.
