Another Belgian €2 Commemorative coin minted in 2012 is dedicated to Queen Elisabeth and the eponymous Music Competition. The coin was issued on 06/05/2012 to celebrate the 75 years since the first edition in 1937.

Specifically, on the Obverse, the profile of Queen Elisabeth is depicted facing left, above it, overlapping, is the logo of the Music Competition, which consists of two mirrored E's with a crown above. Above the silhouette of the Queen, the dates 1937 – 2012 are inscribed, and to the right is the Belgian BE mintmark.

The very first 2 Euro Commemorative coin from Estonia was minted in 2012 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Euro banknotes and coins. This coin is common to all European States, differing only by the name of the State inscribed on it.

This €2 Commemorative coin from Monaco was minted in 2012 to celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Sovereignty of Monaco.

On the Obverse, it features Luciano Grimaldi, also known as Luciano of Monaco, who became Lord of Monaco on October 11, 1505, after assassinating his predecessor and brother Giovanni II. Luciano maintained his sovereignty until his death on August 22, 1523.
The face of the sovereign on the coin is turned to the left and is accompanied by the arching inscription “1512 SOUVERAINETÉ DE MONACO 2012”. Below, next to the face, is the inscription “LUCIEN Ier” accompanied at the bottom by the cornucopia, which is the symbol of the Paris Mint.

La quarta moneta di questa collezione è un pezzo comune anche agli altri Stati europei. Nello specifico parliamo della moneta da 2 Euro Commemorativa della Slovacchia coniata nel 2012 in occasione dei 10 anni di banconote e monete in Euro .

Al Dritto è inciso un magnifico disegno che rappresenta l’Euro inserito al centro del globo, proprio per indicare la sua importanza per l’Europa. Tutto intorno sono stati poi aggiunti vari elementi che ne sottolineano la centralità. Abbiamo ad esempio la nave che rappresenta gli scambi, la fabbrica che rappresenta l’industria, le persone che indicano il popolo e le pale eoliche che simboleggiano l’energia.

In alto ad arco è incisa la scritta “SLOVENSKO” mentre in basso le date “2002 2012”. A destra è presente il simbolo della Zecca di Kremnica “MK” (Mincovňa Kremnica). Tutto intorno la moneta presenta le consuete 12 stelle a cinque punte che rappresentano gli Stati dell'Europa.

La Faccia Comune al Verso è invece identica a quella delle altre monete da 2 Euro.

La moneta è inclusa nella Divisionale FDC “10 anni euro”, in una Coincard Fior di Conio e in una busta filatelico-numismatica.

A €2 Commemorative coin shared by several countries also commemorates the 10th Anniversary of the Euro.

On the Obverse, the coin features a depiction of the Euro symbol at the center of the globe, framed by various elements with different meanings. For instance, we have the ECB tower representing finance, wind stations representing energy, factories representing the industrial world, ships for trade, and houses and people symbolizing the population.

At the top in an arch, the inscription SLOVENIJA, while at the bottom, also in an arch, the dates “2002 – 2012”. Surrounding it are the 12 five-pointed stars representing the European states.

On the Reverse, the coin is, as always, identical to all the others.

Another coin dedicated to a historical monument. Specifically, this €2 Commemorative coin from Spain was minted in 2012 to celebrate the magnificent Cathedral of Burgos. It is a Gothic cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary and famous for its unique architecture and size. Issued on 6/02/2012.

On the Obverse of the 2 euro coin Spain 2012, we can see the representation of the cathedral's façade in all its grandeur. To the left, there is the arch inscription ESPAÑA, while to the right, the year of minting and the crowned M symbolizing the Madrid Mint.
In a circle, along the edge of the bimetallic coin, are the 12 five-pointed stars, symbolizing the European States.

It is important to highlight that the subject for this coin was chosen by European citizens through an online survey. The design of the National Side is, in short, a representation of the importance of the Euro. In particular, around the Euro symbol are depicted people (symbolizing the population), a ship (symbolizing trade), a factory (symbolizing industry), and wind turbines (representing energy).

Above the design, we find the inscription ESPAÑA, while below are the dates 2002 – 2012. As always, the outer edge features the five-pointed stars symbolizing the European States.

The next coin we are going to look at is the one issued to commemorate the VII World Meeting of Families held in Milan.

On the Obverse, the coin features a family with the Cathedral Square in the background, the location where the meeting took place. At the top, there is an arch inscription reading “CITTA' DEL VATICANO” while at the bottom, also in an arch, is the inscription “VII INCONTRO MONDIALE DELLE FAMIGLIE”. To the left of the design, we find the name of the designer and the engraver, while on the right is the year of minting. The mintmark R is located at the bottom.

As always, surrounding the design are the 12 five-pointed stars representing the European states. As for the Reverse of this Vatican 2 euro, it features the same design found on any 2 Euro coin.
