On the Obverse of this 2 euro coin from Portugal, the Tree symbol of the Ajuda Botanical Garden is depicted in all its majesty, designed by Joao Fazenda and minted by the Lisbon Mint with the mark INCM.
At the top of the coin, along the edge, is the inscription 250 ANOS JARDIM BOTANICO DA AJUDA.
At the bottom, also along the edge, is engraved the inscription PORTUGAL 2018.
