For the 75th Anniversary of the UN, this commemorative coin was minted in 2020. Issued on 10/7/2020.

On the Obverse of these 2 euro Portuguese coins, the inscription is presented in calligraphic font:

At the bottom center, the symbol of the United Nations is displayed, with the new mint mark CASA DA MOEDA on the left and the engraver's signature ANDRÉ LETRIA on the right. Finally, the nickel ring of the coin is engraved with twelve five-pointed stars arranged in a circle, representing the emblem of Europe.

The value side, also known as the Common Side or reverse, is on the Reverse of the coin. It displays the nominal value and a map of European countries. The edge consists, like all commemoratives from Portugal, of seven castles and five coats of arms.
