Description of the 2 Euro Peace among Nations 2023

The 2 Euro Commemorative Portugal 2023 Peace Among Nations is issued in Portugal to wish for Peace among Nations. The coin was issued on 15/11/2023.

On the Obverse of the national side, the word PEACE appears in 16 different languages, as many as the official languages of the 20 countries belonging to the Eurozone. The inscriptions are arranged radiating around the armillary sphere at the center of the coin:

Paz, Rauha, Mir, Barış, Peace, Rahu, Friede, Miers, Pace, Taica, Eiphnh, Mier, Paix, Fridden, Pači, Vrede.

On the left, the inscription CASA DA MOEDA (Mint mark) is engraved, above José Teixeira (Designer) followed by PORTUGAL and 2023 (Country and year of issue). Surrounding the coin are the 12 stars of Europe arranged in a circle.
