Finland €2 Frans Eemil Sillanpää 2013 — Value and Rarity

The 2013 features a male Commemorative coin, dedicated to the writer and Nobel Prize for Literature Frans Eemil Sillanpää, marking the 125th anniversary of his birth. Coin issued on 4/11/2013.

On the Obverse of the commemorative coin, there is a nearly photographic portrait of Frans Eemil Sillanpää placed under the inscription F.E. SILLAMPAA, with the year 2013 alongside. To the left is the date 1888, the year of his birth (September 16, 1888), and to the right is 1964, the year of his death (June 3, 1964).
At the bottom, beside the writer's long beard, is the symbol of the Helsinki Mint, a circle with a heraldic lion inside, followed by the identifying letters of Finland FI.
Surrounding the portrait, engraved on the copper-nickel alloy, are stars forming a circle like in the European logo.

The Reverse is the value side showing the nominal value of two euros, the so-called Common Side.

The edge is finely milled and bears the words SUOMI FINLAND with the engraving of three lion heads.
