For the 100 Years of Independence of Finland, also in 2017, this commemorative coin made of dots is minted. Issued on 1/6/2017.

On the Obverse of these 2 euros Finland, as previously mentioned, a homogeneous surface made of dots of different sizes fits together like pieces of a mosaic, a surface in which a silhouette can be glimpsed and the map outline of Finland is recognized. Above on the left, the inscription in vertical and two lines SUOMI 1917 / FINLAND 2017. Instead, on the right, one above the other, the heraldic lion inscribed within a circle and the abbreviation for Finland FI.
The ring of the coin made of nickel and copper is engraved with the stars that represent the emblem of Europe.

The value side, or Common Side, is on the Reverse of the coin.

On the Edge, the two words SUOMI FINLAND can be distinguished, plus the figures of the three lion heads, engraved above a fine milling.
