Also in 2020, the 2 Euro Commemorative Finland was minted dedicated to the writer Väinö Linna for the 100th anniversary of his birth. Issued on 16/11/2020.

On the Obverse, the portrait of Väinö Linna is depicted, he worked at the Finlayson factory, thus in the background are represented threads that symbolize the plots in his books. Below the portrait, the year 2020, the symbol of Finland FI, and the circle with the Heraldic Lion as a mint mark are engraved.

On the outer part of the coin, the European stars are engraved in a circle.

The Reverse is, as usual, the Common Side for all 2 euro coins.

On the Edge, as with all other Finnish coins, there is a fine reeding and the inscription SUONI FINLAND along with three lion heads.
