Lithuania €2 Linguaggio Lituano GRAZIE 2015 — Value and Rarity

The first 2 Euro Commemorative coin of Lithuania was minted in 2015 to commemorate the Lithuanian Language. This is undoubtedly a very special coin, especially for its subject.

Starting with the National Side, on the Obverse we can observe the inscription “AČIŪ” which means “THANK YOU” printed in the center of the coin. In the background, all the letters of the Lithuanian language are engraved, but they do not form any specific word. The font used for the inscription and for the various letters is an original Lithuanian font.

At the bottom, the inscription “LIETUVA” is engraved, followed by the minting year “2015”. On the right, the symbol of the Vilnius Mint “LMK” (Lietuvos Monetų Kalykla) is present.
On the outer edge of the coin, the 12 five-pointed stars are engraved, symbolically representing the European States.

On the Reverse, the 2 Euro Lithuania 2015 coin features the Common Side as with all 2 Euro coins.
