The next 2 Euro Commemorative coin was minted in 2015 to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the European Flag.

On the Obverse, we can immediately observe a wonderful representation of the European Flag perfectly placed in the center of the coin. All around the flag are engraved twelve stylized human figures representing the member states united together to establish a new prosperous Europe.

At the top right, the inscription “LIETUVA” and the dates “1985 – 2015” are engraved. At the bottom right, the symbol of the Vilnius Mint “LMK” (Lietuvos Monetų Kalykla). On the outermost edge, the 12 five-pointed stars representing the European countries are distributed. Meanwhile, on the Reverse, the coin features the so-called Common Side, which is the same for all 2 euro commemorative coins.

The coin is included in a FDC coincard and the author is Georgios Stamatopoulos.
