The obverse shows the city panorama: Vytautas church, cathedral, House of Perkūnas, town hall, Jesuit towers, castle and modernist landmarks (central post office, Resurrection Basilica); inscriptions KAUNAS, LIETUVA, 2026 and LMK; 12 EU stars on the outer ring. Designer: Tomas Dragūnas.
