We move to 2007 and the commemorative coin common to all European countries, for the 50th Anniversary of the Treaties of Rome. Coin minted on 25/03/2007, exactly on the day when, in 1958, the Treaties were signed in Rome.

On the Obverse of the €2 commemorative coin in the Belgian version of the Treaties of Rome, we find in the background the geometries of the pavement designed by Michelangelo for Piazza del Campidoglio in Rome.
In the foreground, the book of the Treaty with the signatures. Just above the book and within the geometry is the inscription EUROPA, in the upper part of the coin in a semicircle and on two lines the inscriptions PACTUM ROMANUM / QUINQUAGENARIUM.

Also in a semicircle but in the lower part BELGIQUE–BELGIE–BELGIEN with above the year 2007 separating the symbols of the Mint Director Romain Coenen on the left (The scales) and on the right that of the Mint (The Archangel Gabriel with the cross)
All around, one after the other, the 12 five-pointed stars representing the European States are repeated.

The opposite side of the coin is the Reverse, the new Common Face where the new version of the map of European countries is used, showing all the States of Europe united without signs of borders between them.

The first French commemorative 2 euro coin was minted in 2008 and is dedicated to the Treaties of Rome.

On the Obverse, in the central brass part, the design depicts the Michelangelo-style paving of the Capitoline Hill in Rome, with the treaty signed by the six founding members in 1957 at the center.
Below, we find the year of minting with the symbols of the Mint Director and the Mint itself on either side. Above, centrally, the inscription in two lines TRAITÉ DE ROME 50 ANS. The word EUROPE is engraved in uppercase letters within the paving.
On the outer part of the coin, the 12 European stars are engraved in a circle.

This commemorative coin is dedicated to the Treaties of Rome for their 50th anniversary. The coin was issued on 25/03/2007.

This time, the Obverse features the depiction of the treaties opened and signed in 1957 by all 6 founders. At the top in a semicircle and on two lines are the words ROMISCHE VERTRAGE / 50° JAHRE. In the background, there is the paving of Michelangelo's project located in Rome at the Piazza del Campidoglio, with the inscription EUROPA. The first €2 Commemorative coin from Ireland that we encounter is actually a coin common to all European states. We are talking about the coin minted in 2007 to mark the 50th Anniversary of the signing of the Treaties of Rome.

On the Obverse of the €2 Ireland 2007, we can indeed observe the open Treaties, placed at the center of the coin, with a representation of the floor of Piazza del Campidoglio (the location where the treaties were signed on March 25, 1957) designed by Michelangelo.

At the top, between the pavement and the Treaties, the inscription “AN EORAIP” is engraved, while if you look even higher, you can see, arranged in two lines, the inscription “CONRADH NA RÓIMHE 50 BLIAIN”.

This €2 Commemorative coin from the Principality of Monaco was minted in 2007 to honor the 25th anniversary of the death of Princess Grace Kelly. It is one of the rarest Monaco €2 coins in the collection, the most sought after and valued.

Grace Patricia Kelly was an American actress who decided to leave her film career to marry Prince Rainier III of Monaco. The princess, who became a Monegasque citizen, was the mother of Princess Caroline, Prince Albert II, and Princess Stéphanie before tragically dying in a car accident in 1982.

Returning to the National Side of these rare Monaco €2 coins, on the Obverse, we can see the princess's face turned to the left. On the right, the inscription “MONACO” is engraved with the date “2017” placed between a cornucopia (the symbol of the Monaco mint) and a horn symbolizing the mint director Hubert Lorivière.

Near the princess's hair, the name of the author is present. All around, we can notice the 12 five-pointed stars representing the European states.

It is indeed the coin minted in 2007 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome. This coin features the same design and will be translated into the various languages, as many as the European states in which it circulates.

On the Obverse of the 2 euro Netherlands 2007, we can indeed observe the representation of the Treaties open and signed by the six founding member states, with the word “EUROPA” prominently displayed above.

In the background, there is a wonderful representation of the floor of Piazza del Campidoglio, designed by Michelangelo, the place where the Treaties were indeed signed.

Just below is engraved the year of minting, namely “2007” enclosed between the Utrecht mint mark and the mint director's symbol.

He is currently buried in the Garibaldino Compendium of Caprera in the Maddalena archipelago in Sardinia. In his later years, he was often photographed seated as he was forced to use a wheelchair.
