In 2008, Belgium issued a commemorative coin dedicated to Human Rights, marking the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It was released on 1/06/2008.
The Obverse of this 2 Euro coin from Belgium features a vertically positioned rectangle with a sphere engraved at the top and the number 60 at the bottom. The rectangle is wrapped in an ornamental ribbon that intertwines to form wavy lines.
Above this graphic representation, the year 2008 is inscribed, while below, in four lines, the inscription UNIVERSAL / DECLARATION / OF / HUMAN RIGHTS.

La commemorativa finlandese da due euro del 2008 è stata voluta per il 60° Anniversario dei Diritti Umani. Coniata ed emessa il 24/10/2008.
Al Dritto di questa moneta da 2 euro finlandia un grande Cuore con dentro la figura di un'uomo con una mano al petto. In alto il millesimo 2008 e in basso sotto il cuore una scritta che sembra un'incisione su una roccia dove si legge: HUMAN RIGHT’S. Sempre nella parte bassa della moneta troviamo a destra il simbolo della Zecca (la Cornucopia), a sinistra la sigla identificativa ella Finlandia FI e al centro la K come firma dell'incisore Tapio Kettunen
Attorno alla parte centrale sono distribuite circolarmente le 12 stelle a cinque punte, che simboleggiano i Paesi Europei.
Al Verso è impressa la Faccia Comune con il valore nominale come per tutte le altre monete da due Euro.
Contorno: Lungo lo spessore finemente zigrinato sono incise in incuso le parole: SUOMI FINLAND seguite da tre teste di Leone.

We come to a coin of significant social and humanitarian value, the 2 Euro Commemorative Italy 2008. This specific coin was minted to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
On the Obverse, the coin features two figures, one male and one female, united by an olive branch (a symbol of peace), a spike (a symbol of nourishment), and a cogwheel (a symbol of labor).
At the bottom, the inscription 60° HUMAN RIGHTS is present, with the monogram of the Italian Republic above it, enclosed by barbed wire symbolizing the right to freedom. Let's move on to another Portuguese coin, this one is from 2008 and was minted in honor of the sixtieth anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Issued on 22/09/2008.
On the Obverse of these 2 euro Portuguese coins, the Atlantic Ocean is stylized in a geometric design. In the shining horizon like the sun, the Coat of Arms of Portugal appears centrally, below the inscription PORTUGAL and further below the date of issue of the coin: 2008.
On the lower part of the coin, around the central disc, the inscription 60 ANOS DA DECLARAÇÃO UNIVERSAL DOS DIREITOS HUMANOS is engraved. At the top right, the signature of the artist Esc. J. Duarte and the mint mark INCM are engraved.
Surrounding the central disc are arranged in a circle the stars that make up the logo of Europe.

La moneta da 2 Euro Commemorativi San Marino 2008 realizzata per dell’Anno Europeo del Dialogo Interculturale.
Al Dritto possiamo notare la rappresentazione di cinque figure umane stilizzate che rappresentano le cinque diverse culture presenti in Europa. The next coin commemorates the 500th anniversary of the birth of Primoz Trubar, a Slovenian religious figure well-known and appreciated in his homeland.
On the Obverse, the coin features the effigy of Primoz Trubar facing left. To the left of his portrait are two inscriptions in an arc. The first reads “PRIMOZ TRUBAR” while the second includes the dates “1508 – 1586”, which correspond to the dates of birth and death of the religious figure.

Another coin dedicated to a very important historical and religious figure. Specifically, we are talking about Saint Paul and the coin that commemorates 2000 years since his birth.
On the Obverse, the coin depicts the scene of the conversion of Saint Paul on the road to Damascus. In the foreground, Saint Paul is shown on his horse, startled by a sudden light. In the background, we can see Damascus itself. To the left, the inscription “CITTÀ DEL VATICANO” is present, while to the right is “ANNO SANCTO PAULO DICATO”.
