Slovakia €2 25 Years SLOVAK REPUBLIC 2018 — Value and Rarity

Let’s move on to another very important coin in the history of Slovakia, the eleventh coin. Specifically, this 2 Euro Commemorative coin of Slovakia was minted in 2018 for the 25th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Slovak Republic.

On the Obverse, we can see the representation of the map of Slovakia which passes through a portal with the Euro symbol at the top surrounded by the stars of the European Union (some of these covered by the map).

This design aims to represent the entry of the Slovak Republic into the EU and the eurozone. On the left, the coat of arms of the Slovak Republic is also engraved. At the bottom left, in a semicircle, the inscription “SLOVENSKÁ REPUBLIKA” is engraved while below the map is the symbol of the Kremnica Mint “MK” (Mincovňa Kremnica) accompanied by the initials of the author.

Below the inscriptions is the date of the establishment of the Slovak Republic “1.1.1993″ and the year of issue “2018”.
On the outermost ring, we can observe the usual 12 five-pointed stars representing the European countries.

As for the Reverse, it always refers to the Common Side, common to all 2 Euro coins.

The coin is included in the FDC Division “25th anniv. Slovak Republic”, in a Coincard FDC, in a FS box, and in a philatelic-numismatic envelope.
