This time we talk about a coin minted in honor of a historical figure, the seventh commemorative coin. In particular, it is the 2 Euro Commemorative coin from Slovakia minted in 2015 on the occasion of the 200th Anniversary of the birth of Ľudovít Štúr, Slovak linguist, poet, and journalist.

On the Obverse, there is indeed a portrait of Ľudovít Štúr, with the inscription “SLOVENSKO” “2015” arched to the right, while at the top is the symbol of the Kremnica Mint “MK” (Mincovňa Kremnica). At the bottom are the initials of the author and to the left arched is the inscription “Ľudovít Štúr” “1815-1865”.
All around, the coin features the classic 12 five-pointed stars representing the European states.
