Description of the 2 Euro Double Portrait Coronation 2013
The next coin is from the same year as the previous one, namely 2013. Specifically, this 2 Euro Commemorative coin was minted to commemorate the coronation of His Highness Willem-Alexander, who succeeded Queen Beatrix on April 30, 2013.
On the Obverse, we can indeed observe the representation of the faces of the two sovereigns facing left, with Beatrix in front and Willem-Alexander behind.
At the bottom, there is the inscription “28 JANUARI” while all around it is “Willem-Alexander prins van Oranje – Beatrix Koningin der Nederlanden”.
Also at the bottom center is the year of minting enclosed between the Utrecht mint mark and that of the mint director.
On the outer edge, we can see the 12 five-pointed stars representing the European states.
The Reverse is identical to that of any other common 2 Euro coin, as it features the Common Side.
The coin is included in a Coincard FDC, in a Coincard UNC, and in a FS Box.
