Finally, we have arrived at what is currently the last 2 Euro Commemorative coin from the Netherlands. Specifically, we are talking about a coin minted in 2015 to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the European Flag.

This is a common coin for all European States that features on the Obverse a representation of the European flag placed at the center. Surrounding the flag are 12 stylized human figures representing the unity of citizens and various States in building a new and better Europe.

At the top, we can see the inscription “NEDERLAND” while to the right are the dates “1985 – 2015”. Also to the right, between the flag and the dates, are the symbols of the Utrecht mint and the mint director.

All around are engraved 12 five-pointed stars representing the European States.
