In 2015, three commemorative coins were issued in Latvia.
One of these, issued on 10/02/2015, features the Logo of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union on the Obverse, with the inscription LATVIJAS PREZIDENTŪRA ES PADOMĒ on the right, which means Latvian Presidency of the Council. On the left is the website of the Presidency of the Council: EU2015.LV.

The outer ring of the bimetallic coin is engraved with the symbol of Europe (12 five-pointed stars in a circle).
