We return with a coin, the 2 Euro Commemorative Italy 2014 Galileo Galilei, featuring a historical figure. This time we talk about a person who revolutionized the world, namely Galileo Galilei, and a coin that commemorates the 450th anniversary of his birth.

On the Obverse, there is a portrait of Galileo taken from the work of Justus Sustermans housed in the Uffizi Gallery.
