We arrive at what is perhaps historically one of the most important coins in this collection, the 2 Euro Commemorative Italy 2011. Specifically, this 2 Euro coin commemorates the 150th anniversary of Italian Unification.

On the Obverse, the coin features the official logo of the 150th anniversary of Italian Unification, consisting of three tricolor flags which represent the three jubilees of 1911, 1961, and 2011. At the top, there is an arching inscription “150° DELL’UNITA’ D’ITALIA”.

To the right is the monogram of the Italian Republic, while below, immediately under the design, is the inscription “1861 > 2011 >>” beneath which we find the mintmark and the signature of the designer.
