Description of the 2 Euro Alessandro Manzoni 2023

The 2 Euro Commemorative Vatican 2023 Alessandro Manzoni is issued to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the death of Alessandro Manzoni. The coin was issued on 27/10/2023.
On the Obverse, the design features a portrait of Manzoni, with an ink pen on the right and the beginning of “I Promessi Sposi“. At the top, from left to right, in a semicircle, is the inscription CITTÀ DEL VATICANO followed by the signature of the designer G.TITOTTO. At the bottom, the signature Alessandro Manzoni is displayed, along with the dates 1873◦2023 beneath it. To the left is the mint mark of Rome R. Surrounding the coin are twelve stars of the European Union arranged in a circle.

Designer: Gabriella Titotto. The Common Side is on the Reverse of the coin with the nominal value of 2 EURO.
