2 Euro Commemorative Italians 2018 Seventieth Anniversary of the Italian Constitution — 2 Euro Commemorative Italy 2018 Seventieth Anniversary of the Italian Constitution

This coin, the 2 Euro Commemorative Italy 2018, was minted in honor of the 70th anniversary of the signing of the Italian Constitution which took place on December 27, 1947.

On the Obverse of the 2 Euro Italy 2018, we see represented the act of signing with Enrico De Nicola (provisional head of state) seated in the center, Alcide De Gasperi (Prime Minister) to the right, and Umberto Terracini (President of the Constituent Assembly) to the left. At the top, there is an arch inscription “COSTITUZIONE” immediately followed below by the monogram of the Italian Republic. To the left are the initials of the author “UP” while at the bottom is the inscription “CON SICURA COSCIENZA” followed by the mint mark and the years “1948 – 2018”.
