The National Side on the Obverse features a very unique design. It consists of a triangle made up of three wavy stripes which represent, in a stylized form, the geographical map of the country.
At the bottom, the inscription “ANDORRA” and “EL PAÍS DELS PIRINEUS” (the country of the Pyrenees) are prominently displayed. At the bottom, the year of issue “2017”.

As always, the coin is surrounded by the 12 five-pointed stars representing the EU member states.
