Monaco €2 ONU 2013 — Value and Rarity

Let's move on to the next €2 Commemorative coin from Monaco minted in 2013 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of UN Membership.

National Side: On the Obverse, this €2 coin from Monaco features a quite significant design. It depicts a dove with an olive branch in its beak and, in the background, the five continents. At the top, the large inscription “MONACO” is present, while at the bottom it reads “1993 – ADMISSION TO THE UN – 2013”.

Surrounding the inscription at the bottom are also the cornucopia, symbol of the Paris Mint, and the symbol of the mint director Yves Sampo, which is a pentagon with the letters AGMP (Atelier de Gravure de la Monnaie de Paris et Pessac). All around the coin are the 12 five-pointed stars representing the European states. On the Reverse, we can find the Common Side.

The coin is included in the FDC 2013 set, in a FDC Stamp&Coincard, and in a FS Box.
