Now let's look at the €2 coin minted to commemorate the Vacant See of 2013. On the Obverse, we notice the coat of arms of the Cardinal Camerlengo which dominates the emblem of the Apostolic Chamber.

Surrounding it, on the left, is the inscription “CITTÀ DEL VATICANO” while on the right is “Vacant See MMXIII”. At the bottom, we find the name of the author “P. DANIELE” and the initials of the engraver “M.C.C. INC.” while slightly to the left is the mint mark R. All around, as usual, we can see the 12 five-pointed stars representing the European states.

On the Reverse, the Vatican €2 coin 2013 “Vacant See” instead features the same face as the other €2 coins.
