The 1973 10 Lire is part of the 10 Lire Spiga series, the second 10 lire coin minted during the Italian Republic, from 1951 to 2000, with a total mintage of 1,975,410,000.
On the Obverse, there is a plow with the inscription REPVBBLICA ITALIANA above, the year of minting, and the mint mark R below. On the Reverse, there are two ears of wheat and the value 10 in the top right corner. Along the bottom edge, the name of the designer G. Romagnoli is inscribed. The Edge is smooth with no inscriptions.
